Current Projects

We believe that loving our neighbor is desiring for others that which we desire for ourselves. We have several opportunities for individuals, families, and community groups to come alongside us and help us be neighbors to this South OKC community. Tapestry Projects *sponsor community gatherings by setting up a cook-out and games for the neighbors *paint exterior trim on 3 apartments *paint exterior of two apartments *put together a play structure *help tile at the tapestry house *landscaping *yard work *build pic-nic tables for the families living at the Tapestry project *clean and organize the tapestry house when it is completed Dumas Baptist Church *install carpet *clean/organize and paint kitchen *replace peel and stick ...

Summer Camp and Volunteer Needs

The Tapestry Project has several new projects and we need your help!!! Next Week we will be hosting a Summer Camp for the children and welcome the Lead 222 youth teams out there to play sports, do a craft, virtue with the kids. In the Afternoon they will be painting and cleaning up the area. * Summer Camp is from 10am-12pm * Work Days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30-3:30pm. * We also could use some help sorting and hanging donated clothing items at Dumas Baptist Church in order to prepare for a clothing co-op. *Lastly IF YOU KNOW ...
